KNU EXAM Centre is a specialised educational and examination environment established to organise and administer international and national language examinations and professional certification in line with recognised assessment standards.
A specialised university environment for securely organised examinations, professional administration and equal candidate access.
The Centre works with internationally recognised assessment frameworks, including the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines, ILR / STANAG 6001 and Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB).
Its procedures also reflect the assessment standards used by recognised international systems and examinations, including IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English Qualifications, Pearson Test of English and the Global Scale of English.
The Centre is supported by specially equipped examination rooms, video monitoring, a separate check-in and personal-belongings area, backup power, protected high-speed connectivity and access for candidates with reduced mobility.
Examination administration and proctoring are carried out by trained personnel in accordance with strict security, confidentiality and academic-integrity procedures.
02Governance
The Centre operates within the University’s governance framework, the legislation of Ukraine and the applicable procedures of examination providers.
The Statute, Collective Agreement and Code of Ethics of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, together with the University’s regulations governing its faculties and structural units.
The laws of Ukraine On Higher Education and On Personal Data Protection, as well as current regulations in education and standardisation.
Where applicable, the Centre follows the regulations, instructions and security protocols of international examination partners and providers, including Pearson VUE, Prometric and the British Council.
