Rules & Instructions
These rules establish a consistent standard of conduct, admission and attendance at KNU EXAM Centre. Their purpose is to protect academic integrity and provide equal, safe and comfortable conditions for every candidate. Registering for an examination and entering the Centre constitutes acceptance of the applicable rules.
01Candidate rules+
Candidates must follow staff instructions, present the required original identification, comply with the relevant provider’s procedures and observe all security and academic-integrity requirements while on the premises.
02Privacy and personal data protection+
KNU EXAM Centre protects candidate data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine On Personal Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
03Data collected and processed+
Identification data may include full name, date of birth, photograph and identity-document details. Contact data may include telephone number and email address. Examination records may include video and audio recordings from the testing room and technical logs generated during computer-based testing.
04Purpose and legal basis+
Data is processed solely to organise and administer examinations, verify results and maintain test security, on the basis of the candidate’s registration consent and the requirements of the relevant examination provider.
05Retention and candidate rights+
Personal data is retained for the periods set by applicable provider rules and Ukrainian law. Candidates may request access to their data, correction of inaccurate information and assistance with personal-data protection matters.
06Appeals procedure+
A candidate may submit a complaint about procedural irregularities, technical failures or unsuitable room conditions. The content and scoring of examination tasks are handled by the relevant provider. A complaint should be submitted on the examination day before leaving the Centre, or within 24 hours, in writing or by email. The Centre reviews available monitoring records and technical logs and provides a written response or provider report within up to 14 working days.
07Accessibility and accommodations+
The Centre supports equal access for candidates with disabilities and reduced mobility through ramps, step-free routes and accessible restroom facilities. Subject to prior approval by the examination provider, arrangements may include additional time or breaks, a separate testing room, specialised software or technical aids. A request with supporting medical documentation should be submitted 14–21 days before the planned examination date.
